Soooo… I was bored earlier today and decided to code a plugin just for kicks. So, lo and behold, I give you WP-Konami! Hey I never said it was useful. WP-Konami uses jQuery to add a hook listening for a Konami Code input sequence, and redirects successful sequences to a URL you specify in the options. You can get your site listed at Konami Code Sites once you have it installed, too!
Enjoy!

@EPICENTER It doesn’t work in IE6 for sure (nothing ever works in IE6). I don’t develop anything with IE in mind, so it wouldn’t surprise me if it didn’t work with any flavors of IE. Just take a look at this site in IE, it’s probably ugly as hell. Anyway, I’ve just tested WP-Konami in IE6 and IE8, and it doesn’t work. Feel free to fork a IE-compatible version. I don’t plan on supporting IE. Ever.

@x0fx3 There’s one link to the settings in the plugins list page and another one in the Settings section. If all else fails, yourblog.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=wp-konami/wpkopt.php

I have to go use the direct link to the settings. Its not showing on plugin list or settings list.

maybe its because I dont have jQuery, because its not working for me.

@x0fx3 The link should show whether you have jQuery or not. If you don’t have jQuery you should simply enable jQuery substitution and it should use the bundled version.

First of all, thanks for this plugin. I’ve been using it for quite a long time, but sometime along the way problems started to occur:
WP2.9, WP-Konami 1.2, Line 95:
$k should be $optName .
The option for making it show only work on the homepage isn’t working. It’s on every page. Other option changes in misc do not get updated with this plugin enabled.

First of all – love this plugin idea!! The only thing is that I have WP v2.9.1 and the plugin doesn’t seem to be working properly
there is no settings options under plugins or in the settings menu. Perhaps it doesn’t work with the newest version of WP?
